High School Student Arrested for Lighting Girl’s Hair on Fire

I wonder if her mother told her this is how boys tell you they like you?

The good news (if there is any) in this case is that the victim didn’t need any medical attention, but she was taken by ambulance to a nearby hair salon where they were able to do an emergency weave.

An East Valley High School student has been arrested for allegedly igniting the hair of a female student while the two were seated in class.  The 17-year-old student was booked into the Spokane County Juvenile Detention center for investigation of second-degree assault.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Spokane Valley school shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. They were told the 16-year-old victim was sitting in front of the suspect in math class when she noticed a weird smell and realized her hair was burning.
